Good notes.
Your choice.
What this site records when you read it, and what happens to your email address if you leave it with us. Updated 10 October 2026.
Your email address
There is no signup form on the site at the moment, so we collect no email addresses.
Reading the site
Cloudflare, which serves the site, sees your IP address and the pages you request, as any web host does, and handles that under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits with a small script; it sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. MMT runs no other analytics and no advertising trackers.
Nothing on this site follows you across other sites, so a Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off.
In your browser
If you shortlist places on the ski, dive, hiking or United States pages, your browser holds that list until you close the tab. It stays on your device and never reaches us.
