MONEY / AIRLINE LOYALTY
Every major frequent flyer program on one page, colored by the alliance it belongs to, with the card points that transfer into it. Pick the program that matches the airline you fly from home, then use the alliance to reach everywhere else.
MMT money desk · Alliance membership checked on each alliance's own site, 24 September 2026
Filter by alliance or search an airline. Chips at the bottom of a card show the US bank points that transfer in, with the ratio where the bank publishes it. A card lists expiry and pooling rules only where we read them on the program's own page.

A group of airlines that let you earn and spend miles across each other's flights and share lounge and status benefits. There are three: Star Alliance (26 members), oneworld and SkyTeam. Joining one program in an alliance lets you book the others' seats with the same miles.
Star Alliance, with 26 member airlines on its own member page on 24 September 2026. oneworld lists Alaska, American, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, Finnair, Hawaiian, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian and SriLankan. SkyTeam lists 18, with Aeroflot's membership suspended.
No. Most travelers do best with one program per alliance at most, chosen by the airline they fly from home and by which card points transfer into it. The chips on each card show which of the big US transferable currencies feed that program.
No. SAS joined SkyTeam on 1 September 2024 and does not appear on Star Alliance's member page.
No. LATAM is not on oneworld's member list and runs LATAM Pass as an unaligned program with its own partner deals, including Delta.
It depends on the program. Rapid Rewards, TrueBlue, Aeromexico Rewards, Atmos Rewards and Volaris altitude points do not expire under their own terms. Others expire after a period of no activity, from 12 months at Frontier to 36 months at LATAM. Each card shows the rule where we read it on the program's own page.
