India travel guide

Give Delhi, Agra and Jaipur a week, then choose the desert, Udaipur’s lakes or a wildlife stay for your next few nights.

THE SHORT VERSION
  • Seven nights make a useful core: Delhi three, Agra one, Jaipur three. Add one Rajasthan branch and a final night near your departure airport.
  • Foreign visitors and OCI/eOCI holders need the e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival. The portal also requires a separate health self-declaration for arriving passengers, as checked 28 September 2026. 1
  • INR 64 buys a one-way Airport Express QR ticket between IGI Airport and New Delhi station, checked 28 September 2026. Local onward travel costs extra. 2
  • Friday closes the Taj Mahal to sightseeing. Its advertised foreign/NRI admission is INR 1,100, plus INR 200 for the main mausoleum, checked 28 September 2026. 3
  • Jaisalmer’s May mean daily high is 42.1°C; Udaipur-Dabok averages 235.6 mm of July rain. Choose your Rajasthan branch with those differences in mind. 4, 5

At Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi, garden paths divide the grounds around a red sandstone mausoleum. Start here, then give Old Delhi its own day of food and walking before you head to Agra. This route makes room for both the monuments and the time between them. 6

India rewards a trip with a clear shape. This guide concentrates on Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan: a seven-night core, then one extension to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer, Udaipur, or Ranthambore. It gives you a first arrival, places to base yourself and ticket costs you can put into a plan. Kerala, Goa, the northeast and the Himalaya deserve separate routes and their own seasonal decisions.

The essentials, at a glance.

How many nights do you need?

Start with three bases and two transfer days. Delhi gets time to recover from the flight, Agra gets an overnight, and Jaipur gets a full day beyond its arrival afternoon. Seven nights is our suggested starting point. A late flight into Delhi makes that first night a bed, not a sightseeing day; count your usable mornings before adding another stop.

ROUTESeven-night core: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur7 nights
  1. 01
    Delhi3 nights

Use the first afternoon for your own neighbourhood. Give one full day to Old Delhi and another to a garden tomb and a guided walk, with space between them for meals.

→ Reserved train or booked car to Agra; use the exact station on your ticket.
  2. 02
    Agra1 night

Arrive, settle in, then use the next morning for the Taj Mahal. Put Agra Fort on the arrival afternoon if your transfer leaves enough time.

→ Reserved train or booked car to Jaipur.
  3. 03
    Jaipur3 nights

Split the walled city and Amber into separate days. Keep the last afternoon for a walk, a meal or a return to the place you liked most.

→ Continue to one branch, or travel back to Delhi before the departure day.

With less time: With five nights, use Delhi two, Agra one and Jaipur two. Skip the extensions. If the international flight leaves Delhi, add a final Delhi night or shorten a stay to make room.

The route has one firm calendar hinge: the Taj’s Friday closure. 3 For example, an Agra stay on Thursday night leaves Friday morning unusable for your main visit. Move the overnight, visit on Thursday afternoon, or give Agra another night. Set that choice before the Jaipur hotel; it is harder to fix after both stays become non-refundable.

For a ten-night holiday including the flight home, choose the seven-night core, two wildlife nights and one Delhi night. For eleven nights, the core plus three Udaipur nights and a departure night gives a slower finish. The desert branch needs more room: two Jodhpur nights and three Jaisalmer nights bring the core to twelve, before your exit journey.

Core plus departure night8

Core, Udaipur and departure night11
Core, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and departure night13

These are suggested allocations. An overnight train or a different departure city changes the accommodation count.

For your first India trip, resist making Jaipur the halfway point of a rush across the whole country. A second region brings another set of flights, hotels and weather choices. If you are still choosing the country itself, return to MMT’s Travel section before tying several separate journeys into one ticket.

What visa and arrival forms do you need?

Treat the visa and arrival forms as separate jobs. As of 28 September 2026, the Indian portal requires foreign nationals to hold the relevant visa or qualifying OCI/eOCI status, subject to exemptions. Foreign visitors and OCI/eOCI holders submit the e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival. All arriving passengers also complete the health Self-Declaration Form before immigration. 1

Use the official visa portal for the application and arrival-card links. The health form is on Air Suvidha; current UK guidance says to complete it within the final 24 hours before arrival. Put those two windows in your calendar, alongside your flight’s local arrival date. 12

The eVisa rules require six months of passport validity at application, two blank pages and onward or return travel. The minimum application lead is four days. The 30-day tourist permission runs from first arrival; first entry must fall within the ETA dates. The portal currently describes multiple entries, with no extension or conversion. 13

Five years160 / 484

Fees are per applicant. These two nationality examples do not determine eligibility for other passports.

One-year and five-year tourist visas allow multiple entries, but the portal caps total stay at 180 days per calendar year. Their validity starts at grant. Carry the granted ETA; the application receipt alone is insufficient. Processing fees remain non-refundable after submission. Travellers with Pakistani passports or Pakistani origin are directed to a regular visa through an Indian mission. 13

For British citizens, FCDO states six months’ passport validity from arrival and two blank pages. That arrival-date test is stricter than counting from your application date. Foreign guests also need their passport and valid status for lodging registration. Keep those documents accessible when you reach the Delhi reception desk, instead of sealing them inside the main suitcase. 12

Your first arrival: Delhi airport to your room

Choose your Delhi base before choosing the transfer. For a first stay, look around Connaught Place or the New Delhi station side of the centre. Delhi Tourism lists accommodation near both, including Hotel Ajanta with New Delhi as its nearest metro. 14 This is a useful search area if you want the arrival rail link and a central base without changing rooms on day two.

  1. Finish the arrival formalities

Have your passport, entry permission and saved form confirmations ready. Complete immigration, collect your bags and clear customs before starting the hotel transfer. Keep your Delhi hotel’s full address and telephone number offline so a phone connection is optional at this point.

  2. Choose the right rail line

From Terminal 3, follow Airport Express signs for IGI Airport station. The airport advertises about 25 minutes between the airport and New Delhi railway station. Terminal 1 uses the Magenta Line, so a domestic arrival there needs a different route. Allow extra time for the walk, ticket and hotel connection. 8

  3. Buy the ticket for your actual stop

The 28 September 2026 QR fare is INR 64 from IGI Airport to New Delhi, or INR 54 to Shivaji Stadium. Choose the stop that fits your hotel address. The airport ticket covers that rail journey; your taxi or local metro onward is a separate cost. 2

  4. Finish the short hotel leg

For a late landing or heavy luggage, a prearranged airport pickup is a sensible first-night choice. Save the meeting point and vehicle details before flying. Keep the hotel booking open on your phone and go to that address, with any proposed change settled directly with the hotel.

  5. Make the first afternoon small

At a Connaught Place base, plan a meal and a short walk, then leave the far side of Delhi for tomorrow. At an airport-side room, treat the evening as recovery. The first morning after sleep is worth more than a paid tour you spend fighting jet lag.

A central room and an airport room solve different problems. For three Delhi nights, choose the base for your two full days. For a single night between flights, choose it for the terminal transfer. The cheap-looking option loses its appeal when you pay for repeated long rides; compare the room and your planned trips together.

Delhi: a garden day and an Old Delhi day

Give Delhi two different walking days. Humayun’s Tomb uses a charbagh garden plan, with paths and water channels dividing the grounds. Its sandstone and marble make a useful first stop before Agra. 6 Put the tomb in a morning on its own, then choose lunch and a second stop based on how much energy the arrival has left you.

Old Delhi deserves the other full day. Chandni Chowk’s food streets include sweet makers, savoury snack sellers and parantha shops; around Jama Masjid and Matia Mahal, Delhi Tourism points to kebabs, nihari and paaya. 15 Choose one food area for the meal. A long list of famous dishes makes a poor walking route when lunch turns into constant backtracking.

For a guided view of another part of the city, Salaam Baalak Trust’s City Walk runs through inner Paharganj and the New Delhi railway station area. The English walk lasts about two hours. Trained adolescent guides who formerly lived or worked on Delhi’s streets lead it. Use the Trust’s City Walk page to arrange the visit and obtain its current price. 16

Build the walk into a half-day, not the gap between checkout and a train. You will have bags to manage and a fixed departure to reach. The better sequence is walk, lunch, then an open afternoon. Let your guide decide what personal history to share. Pay for the work, follow the programme’s photography rules and keep questions respectful.

  • For architecture, keep Humayun’s Tomb as the main visit and use the rest of that day for a slower meal or another garden.
  • For food, keep Old Delhi as one district day; choose snacks or a seated lunch before adding more stops.
  • For a guided walk, reserve a Delhi morning before the transfer day so the tour can run at its own pace.

With only two Delhi nights, choose the tomb or the longer guided walk and keep Old Delhi. With four, add a second slow city day instead of making Agra a rushed excursion. Delhi also works as the final overnight, but keep that return day loose: it is the place to absorb a delayed journey, buy the last gift or finish a meal you missed.

Agra: make the overnight count

Sleep in Agra if the Taj is a main reason for the trip. Search around Tajganj for the overnight and keep your arrival afternoon separate from the next morning’s main visit. The advantage is control of your start, not a promise of empty grounds. A one-night stay works best when you arrive with enough time to settle in and leave after the visit.

Agra has distinct railway stations: Agra Cantt is the main one, while Agra Fort is another. The district authority lists train links with Delhi and Jaipur, plus taxis and auto-rickshaws for the station transfer. 17 Put the station name into the hotel pickup request exactly as shown on the ticket. ‘Agra station’ leaves too much room for a wrong meeting point.

The main mausoleum needs a separate ticket alongside Taj grounds admission. Children under 15 have free base entry. Carry government-issued identity for the category you use. 3

Treat Agra Fort as a second visit with its own pace. If the Delhi transfer runs late, move it to after the Taj and leave Agra later, or drop it. Trying to protect every stop often costs the part you came for: time to look. Two Agra nights make sense if you want both monuments without placing them against a travel deadline.

Sheroes Hangout gives you a concrete lunch stop in Tajganj. The survivor-run café lists its Agra address behind Go Stops Hostel, Taj Nagari Phase 1, and hours of 10:00-19:00 daily, checked 28 September 2026. The enterprise employs acid-attack survivors, with café profits supporting surgery and legal aid. 18 Visit as a café customer; staff set the terms of any conversation about their lives.

Jaipur: split the city and Amber

Keep the walled city and Amber on different days. Jaipur’s City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal form one sightseeing thread; Amber belongs on its own outing. RTDC’s route lists all of them, but labels Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal as front views. 19 A photo stop and an interior visit fill very different amounts of your day.

For accommodation, compare Bani Park with C-Scheme: Rajasthan Tourism’s registered guest-house list includes addresses in both. 20 Use those as search districts, then choose the actual room for your daily route. A three-night stay makes the address matter more than an arrival-night bargain. Plot the hotel, your city day and the Amber pickup before booking.

Our suggested first full day is the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, with Hawa Mahal and a meal kept flexible. On the second, give Amber the morning and keep the afternoon light. That leaves your arrival evening for settling in and your third morning free if an earlier visit runs short. A smaller daily plan also gives a guide time to explain what you are seeing.

Monument entry, camera fees and the Amber jeep cost extra. The tour is cancelled if the minimum is unmet. Choose this circuit for arranged transport; for long visits inside two monuments, use your own transport plan and separate tickets.

Jaipur is the place to decide how much structure you enjoy. If you loved having a guide set the pace in Delhi, book another walk. If you want to stop for drawings, photographs or a long lunch, leave a day without a group departure. Put any shopping visit into the plan openly; it should use time you chose to spend shopping.

Should you choose desert, lakes or wildlife?

Pick the extension for a different kind of day. Jodhpur and Jaisalmer suit travellers who want another fort city and a desert stay. Udaipur makes a slower palace-and-lake finish. Ranthambore changes the rhythm to wildlife outings. Keep one of these branches; adding all three turns your second week into a series of departures.

Use one full day for Mehrangarh, with room to follow the audio guide and stop for lunch. Keep the arrival evening free.

→ Continue toward Jaisalmer by reserved rail or a booked road transfer; choose against the date-specific timetable.
  2. 02
    Jaisalmer3 nights

Keep one day for the fort and town, another for your chosen desert outing. Decide whether a camp night replaces one town night before reserving both.

→ Arrange the onward journey before committing to the last hotel; allow a separate night near the international departure.

With less time: With three extra nights, choose Jodhpur alone or Udaipur. The farther-west journey earns its place when Jaisalmer has a full day of its own.

Mehrangarh’s galleries include paintings, textiles, arms and palanquins. 9 Give Jodhpur a full museum day. Jaisalmer’s Sonar Qila still contains homes, shops and hotels; Gadisar Lake and Patwon Ki Haveli offer town visits alongside the fort. 21 Keep doorways clear and ask before photographing people or entering private spaces.

Use the City Palace as the main visit, then leave a full day for the lake area and a long meal. Choose this branch if you want fewer hotel changes.

→ Use Udaipur’s railway station or Maharana Pratap Airport for the onward leg. 22

With less time: With two nights, keep Udaipur itself and skip a distant day trip. A transfer day followed by one full day is already a short stay.

The City Palace stands beside Lake Pichola. Its museum includes galleries in the former Zenana Mahal and glass-inlaid peacocks at Mor Chowk. 22 Make that the anchor of your Udaipur day. For lodging, begin your search in the Lake Pichola area, then choose between staying near the museum and a room that suits the vehicle access you need.

ROUTEWildlife branch between Agra and Jaipur2 nights
  1. 01
    Sawai Madhopur / Ranthambore2 nights

Arrive before the wildlife day, keep that day for your booked outings, and leave for Jaipur the next morning. Two nights leave a choice of sessions without putting the first one after a long transfer.

→ Use Sawai Madhopur as the rail gateway and arrange the road leg to your lodging. 10

With less time: If the only available permit clashes with your train, change the stay or skip the branch. Reserve the wildlife visit before the room.

Use the Rajasthan Forest Department booking links for Ranthambore permits. 23 Compare the available date, session, zone and vehicle before choosing your stay along Ranthambhor Road. A second outing adds another chance to watch wildlife, but a tiger sighting remains an event in the forest, not something the booking buys.

How much do the major tickets cost?

Price the route you will take. Start with the room nights and intercity legs, then add the visits below. A Udaipur ticket belongs in the lake branch; Mehrangarh belongs in the desert branch. Keeping those alternatives in separate columns of your own budget prevents a long wish list from looking like a single affordable holiday.

Two non-Indian adults pay INR 3,150 in person-level charges for Ranthambore Critical Tiger Habitat, before vehicle and service costs. For confirmed bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the visit date, refunds are zero for entrance fees, additional entrance fees, eco-development surcharge and camera fees. Unconfirmed or waiting-list bookings have separate refund terms. 25 Keep the permit and pickup details with your Sawai Madhopur room booking.

The two museum bars compare the same service: admission with an audio guide for the stated adult category. They tell you what those visits cost, not which city is the better value. Udaipur and Jodhpur each add nights and travel. An extra stop solely to buy a cheaper museum ticket would reverse the saving many times over.

For the full trip, compare rooms on the final payable total: dates, occupancy, meals, taxes and cancellation terms. Put a shared car under a group total and train seats under a per-person total. Add airport transfers at both ends of the trip. Keep foreign-card and currency-conversion costs separate; MMT’s Money section is the next place to browse when you turn the route into a spending plan.

Trains, cars and the stations that matter

Read the station before the departure time. Delhi Tourism names New Delhi, Old Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin as separate major stations. 26 Agra Cantt and Agra Fort are separate too. 17 A city name on your plan is enough for choosing a route; a station name is essential for getting into the correct car on travel morning.

For Delhi-Agra and Agra-Jaipur, compare reserved rail with a booked car. Rail gives the day a fixed departure and a seat to plan around. A car lets you agree your own start and a stop en route. Decide with the complete transfer in view: hotel to station, waiting, train, then station to hotel. That comparison is more useful than the headline ride time.

Route suggestions, not a timetable. Train names, stations, running days and seats depend on the selected departure.

The Indian Railways enquiry provides the reserved-train schedule lookup. 27 Search your actual date and station pair before treating a train as the spine of a hotel booking. Save the ticket and its booking status offline. A useful travel-day record has the train number, boarding station, date, carriage and seat details together.

For a car from Agra to Jaipur, have the quote list the endpoints, vehicle, luggage capacity, tolls, parking, driver expenses and every requested stop. A stop at another monument uses both driving time and visiting time. Decide whether it replaces something in Jaipur. Otherwise a transfer described as flexible can become the most crowded day of the trip.

Jaisalmer deserves particular care on the exit leg. Choose the onward connection before your last camp or town night. For a separate domestic flight into Delhi, give yourself a final overnight before the international flight when possible. If losing that night would make the trip unaffordable, shorten the western branch. That protects the expensive flight home without trying to predict every delay.

Food, walks and spending with people

Choose food by neighbourhood and region. In Old Delhi, decide between Chandni Chowk’s breads and snacks and the meat dishes around Matia Mahal before setting off. 15 In Rajasthan, dal baati churma combines lentils, wheat bread balls and a sweet cereal preparation. Chilli and garlic chutney often accompany it. 28 These are useful starting orders, with each kitchen giving the meal its own form.

For a first Jaipur lunch, try one regional meal and leave dinner open. For your Agra stop, give lunch a proper place between the monument and the transfer instead of treating it as food bought while waiting for a driver. A meal with time to sit down is part of the route, especially after an early start.

The word vegetarian answers only one dietary question. For dal baati churma, ask the kitchen directly about dairy, wheat and the fat used in preparation. With a serious allergy, show the ingredient in writing and explain cross-contact. Choose another meal if the kitchen cannot give a clear answer. In a group, settle these needs before joining a food walk so the guide can plan suitable stops.

At Sheroes Hangout in Agra, the café is the reason to arrive: order, eat and pay for the service. At Salaam Baalak Trust’s Delhi walk, the guide’s chosen route is the reason to join. Neither visit needs a personal account from every person you meet. Treat photographs, recording and questions about private experience as requests that people are free to decline.

  • In Jaipur, agree whether a guided walk includes food, monument tickets or a shopping stop before paying for the experience.
  • For an excursion from Jodhpur, distinguish the transport operator from the people hosting you. Choose a visit that identifies who leads it and where your payment goes.
  • At a religious site, follow the site’s own rules on shoes, clothing and photography. Keep worshippers’ access clear and accept restricted areas without argument.

For a craft purchase in Jaipur or Jodhpur, give yourself time to compare the actual object. Ask who made it, what material it uses and what the price includes. If delivery is part of the sale, get the full destination and charge in writing. Buying something you want from someone who can explain it is a better souvenir plan than adding an unplanned shop to a rushed transfer.

When should you take this route?

Choose the month and the Rajasthan branch together. Jaisalmer’s 1991-2020 normals put May’s mean daily maximum at 42.1°C. July rain averages 63.9 mm. Udaipur-Dabok’s July figures are 32.2°C and 235.6 mm. 4, 5 The two extensions call for different plans even though they share a state name.

For the western branch, avoid building a May itinerary around long outdoor afternoons. Put the fort or town walk early, reserve a real break, and make the desert activity conditional on safe conditions. If heat is the reason you would spend most of each day indoors, choose a different month. A lower room price has little value when it removes the reason for travelling.

Udaipur in the monsoon needs room for rain. Give the City Palace a flexible day and keep a lakeside outing easy to move. The rainfall normal is a long-term average, not a forecast for your week. Use it to choose a style of trip, then use the forecast to choose tomorrow’s programme.

IMD’s Jaipur climate account places the hot season in March-May, the monsoon from late June to mid-September, and winter from mid-December to mid-February. It describes very hot summers, cold winter mornings and morning mist or fog in some winter conditions. 29 October-November or February-March are sensible starting windows for comparing dates, with the air-quality issue considered separately.

Seasonal choices for the route 4, 5, 29, 11
Period or branchWhat changes in the plan
Western Rajasthan before monsoonShort outdoor mornings; reconsider heat-heavy dates
Udaipur in July-AugustFlexible lake outings and room for wet days
Jaipur in winterLayers for early starts; avoid tight morning connections
Delhi and Agra in October-FebruaryAir quality can outweigh comfortable temperatures

Climate patterns guide the season; forecasts and air-quality readings guide the individual day.

For Delhi and Agra, cooler weather and cleaner air are separate questions. FCDO identifies October-February as the period of particular concern for severe pollution in north Indian cities. 11 If a family member has a respiratory condition, decide the route with medical advice before committing to that season. Moving a walk indoors changes a day; changing the city or month changes the exposure you are planning around.

Safety, access and a workable last week of planning

Keep location-specific risks separate. On 28 September 2026, FCDO advises against all travel within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border. That affects far-western detours; apply it to the exact desert outing, not every Rajasthan city. Other regional warnings cover Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur, so extending this route into those areas needs a fresh decision. 30

FCDO reports verbal and physical harassment of women travellers and risk of sexual assault, including in tourist areas. It advises avoiding isolated places when alone. 31 For this route, book the first Delhi transfer, favour arrivals while you can settle in comfortably, and keep the evening return to your room planned. Choose transport for control of the journey as well as cost.

Religious-site dress customs are a separate subject from that safety risk. Follow the rules given by the mosque, temple or other site you enter; FCDO specifically flags local customs at religious sites and in rural areas. 31 A scarf and shoes you can remove easily are practical packing choices for this itinerary. Clothing never transfers responsibility for harassment to the traveller.

For limited mobility, the City Palace Museum lists an accessible lift, ramps, wheelchairs and an accessible toilet. It also provides sensory guides and social narratives in English and Hindi. 22 Match those resources to the spaces you want to visit. For Delhi, Agra and Amber, choose the day’s walking distance with the actual entrances and vehicle drop-off in view.

Keep payment and phone access simple on arrival. Carry two independent ways to pay, some access to rupees, and saved tickets that work offline. Buy a local SIM only with clear terms for activation, data and identity checks; treat a tourist UPI wallet as an optional extra once you qualify. The first Delhi pickup should work even if your mobile data takes longer than expected.

The museum’s visitor FAQ also warns that narrow stairs and different levels limit access to some areas. 32 Share your specific needs before booking the Udaipur visit. A lift on the facilities list helps, but the route between the galleries you want is what determines a workable afternoon.

In the last week, put your Delhi room, Agra visit day, Jaipur stay and final airport night on one page. Add the exact stations and the wildlife permit if you chose that branch. Leave spare space for a delayed transfer or an afternoon you decide to repeat. For broader reading before departure, browse MMT’s Articles section after the essential bookings are settled.

Yes: use Delhi two nights, Agra one and Jaipur two. It is a compact plan with little recovery time after a late flight. Put the Taj on an open day, keep each city’s programme small and leave the extensions for a longer trip. A Delhi flight home may require a separate final night.

Does a five-year tourist visa allow five years in India?

No. Five years describes the visa’s validity; the current tourist rules cap total stay at 180 days per calendar year. The dates and conditions of your permission still govern each journey. A longer visa makes repeat trips possible without turning this holiday into residence. 13

Which Airport Express stop should I use for central Delhi?

Compare the hotel address with New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium before buying. Both are stops on the Airport Express. 2 Choose the station with the shorter onward hotel connection, and save that final leg with the booking. For heavy luggage, a direct airport pickup may be worth the extra cost.

Can I skip the Agra overnight and visit from Delhi?

You can plan an out-and-back visit, but give the whole day to Agra. Choose transport that leaves enough time for the visit and lunch before the return. If you are continuing to Jaipur, sleeping in Agra keeps the journey moving forward and gives you more control of the next morning.

Can international students get a Mehrangarh concession?

Mehrangarh lists international student admission at INR 500, checked 28 September 2026. Take your student identification and establish that it qualifies before buying the concession. A student travelling with a parent should price each person’s category separately. 9

Is the INR 1,575 Ranthambore fee the whole safari price?

No. INR 1,575 covers entry and eco-development charges per non-Indian person per visit to Ranthambore Critical Tiger Habitat. Vehicle and service costs are extra. 25

Does Udaipur City Palace offer help with sensory planning?

Yes. The museum publishes sensory guides and social narratives in English and Hindi. Read these before choosing the length of your visit; they help you plan around spaces that feel comfortable and those likely to be more demanding. 22

Should I book a desert camp as well as three Jaisalmer hotel nights?

Decide whether the camp replaces a town night or is a separate evening outing. For three nights total, two in town and one in camp is a possible split. Establish the pickup, luggage storage and next-day return before paying, so the same night is not booked twice.

Where should a family cut the route if it feels too busy?

Cut the extension first, then use the saved nights in Delhi or Jaipur. Keep Agra overnight if the Taj matters to everyone. One extra morning in a familiar room usually helps more than another hotel arrival, and a quieter day gives children a say in what happens next.
