Philippines travel guide

Build a Cebu and Bohol trip with room for city history, island days and a reliable journey home.

THE SHORT VERSION
  • 8 nights make a useful first loop: Cebu City 3, Bohol 4 and Mactan 1. Add time within those stops before adding another island.
  • 30 days is the initial visa-free allowance for eligible passports, including US, UK, Canadian and Australian; passport and onward-ticket conditions apply. 1
  • PHP 0: official eTravel registration is free and opens within 72 hours before arrival. Save the QR code before leaving home. 2
  • PHP 0 buys general admission at National Museum Cebu and National Museum Bohol, useful anchors for a city day. 3

Bohol’s Chocolate Hills began as coral limestone, then took their rounded forms through erosion. Across the water, Cebu’s Casa Gorordo tells the story of a trading city through one family house. Together they make a trip with more than beach time: a city to understand, an island interior to explore, and evenings left open. 5, 6

Start with eight nights through Mactan-Cebu International Airport: three in Cebu City, four in Bohol and a last night near the airport. The sea link is Cebu to Tagbilaran, sold by OceanJet. This guide builds that loop, with shorter and longer versions below. Give the crossing its own day and keep the final night on Cebu so a late boat has somewhere to land in your plan. 7

Which Philippines trip fits your time?

Make Cebu and Bohol the whole first trip. The pairing suits a traveler who wants museums as well as water, and who would trade an extra airport day for a full day in one place. Cebu provides the city chapter. Bohol provides the change of pace. One crossing each way keeps the route easy to picture before you start buying separate tickets.

Elsewhere, Palawan offers El Nido’s lagoons and Coron’s wreck-diving focus. Those are different trips with different gateways. For a first visit of roughly a week, choose the activity that matters most and build around it. The Philippines destination index gives that wider orientation. 14

5Cebu City + Mactan, or Bohol by air
8Cebu City 3 / Bohol 4 / Mactan 1
12Cebu City 3 / Bohol 6 / Cebu City 2 / Mactan 1

With 5 nights, leave out the round-trip ferry loop. With 8, leave out a third island. With 12, spend the extra days within Cebu and Bohol. Transfers occupy part of each arrival day.

An eight-night trip gives you nine calendar days, but the first and last belong partly to the flights. Three nights in Cebu mean two full days after arrival. Four in Bohol mean three full days after the crossing. That distinction matters when a wish list includes the Chocolate Hills, a beach afternoon and a river outing. Each deserves a place on an actual date.

Five nights span six calendar days, with four full days between arrival and departure. For that shorter break, choose Cebu City and Mactan, or fly into Bohol. Two sea-transfer days would take a large share of the time available for the Chocolate Hills, museums or beach.

Traveling onward in Asia? Keep the Philippines segment coherent before choosing the next country. Use MMT’s travel index as a separate planning stop. A cheap international fare helps only when its departure city fits the route you want to take. Price the journey back to that airport as part of the same decision.

Do you need a visa for the Philippines?

Start with the passport you will use. As checked 28 September 2026, the official visa portal lists US, UK, Canadian and Australian nationals among those eligible for an initial 30-day visa-free stay. It requires a passport valid at least six months beyond the planned stay and a ticket home or onward. Other nationalities have distinct rules; the portal includes the country list. 1

For the standard 30-day category, the New York consulate specifies business or tourism and excludes applicants subject to a deportation or blacklist order. Keep the onward booking with the passport and first hotel address so the arrival plan is easy to show. A reservation folder is more useful than trying to retrieve separate emails at the desk. 15

Complete official eTravel within 72 hours before arrival. Arriving foreign and Filipino passengers generally register, with exemptions for listed official and diplomatic categories. Registration costs nothing. Save or print the QR code for the airline. eTravel collects arrival information; the visa rules still determine which permission you need. 2

  • Use the same passport details on the ticket, entry paperwork and ferry booking. For a Cebu-Bohol loop, keep both your first Cebu address and Bohol address in the trip folder.
  • Count the trip from arrival through departure when selecting an entry category. An eight-night itinerary leaves room within a standard 30-day permission, but the date granted at the border controls your stay.
  • For a longer visit, contact the Bureau of Immigration before the permission expires. Its FAQ describes an initial 29-day visa waiver extension for eligible visitors admitted for 30 days. 16

For couples with different passports, work through each person’s rules separately before buying the same flight. The hotel plan can be shared; entry eligibility is individual. If one person needs a visa, put that application ahead of any nonrefundable island package. Keep the airport you intend to use visible in the application and booking details.

Your first day: CEB to a Cebu City base

Give arrival day one job: reach the right bed. CEB’s airport address is in Lapu-Lapu City. A Cebu City hotel and an airport-area Mactan hotel are different destinations. Write the full property name in your offline note, especially if it belongs to a group with more than one Cebu property. 9

  1. Before landing

Save your eTravel QR, passport details and hotel address where they work offline. Carry the return or onward booking with them. Leave a blank afternoon after a long flight so the first delay costs rest time rather than a prepaid activity.

  2. Clear arrival formalities

Follow the arrival signs through the border process, collect checked luggage and pass customs before meeting the driver. Keep your phone, passport and cash in your small bag until you have all the luggage together. Use the arrivals meeting point agreed with your hotel.

  3. Choose a direct transfer

For this route, a hotel-arranged car or a reputable taxi is the straightforward first transfer. UK advice specifically recommends reputable taxi companies and suggests arranging an airport meeting or hotel transfer. Keep the vehicle and meeting details with the reservation. 17

  4. Go to the city address

For the first three nights, use a base around Cebu Business Park, such as the Archbishop Reyes Avenue area. Quest Hotel and Conference Center Cebu is one named property there. Put the street address in the ride request, then make the museum outing a separate trip after sleep. 18

  5. Make a small first evening

Drop the bags, eat near the hotel and look at the next day’s route to Parian. Save Casa Gorordo for a rested visit. If the flight lands late, go directly to the hotel; the three-night city stay leaves two full days for exploring.

A prearranged car is most useful when your party has children, mobility needs or several checked bags. Specify the luggage as well as the passenger count when booking. For a solo traveler with one bag, compare the hotel quote with the taxi option at the airport. Use the final vehicle price when splitting costs, including any waiting charge stated by the provider.

Avoid scheduling the Tagbilaran ferry immediately after an international arrival. A delayed bag would then affect the hotel, car and boat at once. Staying in Cebu City first makes the sea crossing a fresh morning’s task. It also gives you a reason to see the city before leaving it.

Where to stay on Cebu and Bohol

Choose a base by the days around it. Quest Hotel and Conference Center Cebu is on Archbishop Reyes Avenue near Cebu Business Park. Use that area for the city stay, with separate trips to Parian and the ferry pier. 18

For Bohol, the main choice is Tagbilaran or Panglao. The National Museum Bohol is in Tagbilaran’s Old Capitol Complex, on Carlos P. Garcia Avenue at J.S. Torralba Street. That gives a city-based stay a clear cultural anchor. Alona Beach in Tawala, Panglao, is a different lodging setting; Henann Resort Alona Beach places its rooms directly on that shoreline. 3, 19

BaseBest fit
Cebu Business ParkCity stay; car to Parian and pier
TagbilaranMuseum and port; beach as an outing
Alona Beach, TawalaBeach stay; car from Tagbilaran
Mactan airport areaLast night near CEB

Keep one Bohol base for a four-night stay. Choose Tagbilaran for city time or Alona for beach time between excursions; arrange the corresponding port and day-trip transfers.

Henann Resort Alona Beach lists three pools and a 120 m beachfront as of 28 September 2026. This is a large resort setting, with Coral Café and Sea Breeze Café among its dining venues. A beachfront property can still have rooms away from the sea: match the room category, view and cancellation terms when comparing offers. 19

Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino is the Mactan option for airport access. Its room list includes Superior and Ambassador rooms, plus suites. Select the Airport property when searching and price the room for your flight date. Airport proximity is the reason to choose it over another Cebu City night. 20

How does the Cebu to Bohol crossing work?

Book Cebu to Tagbilaran by name. OceanJet sells the route on its official site. Its booking form separates adults aged 12 and over, children aged 2-11 and infants under 2. The student, disability and senior fares shown there are restricted to Filipino nationals and require ID. Foreign visitors should use the applicable regular passenger category. 7

OceanJet lists a ticket office at Cebu Pier 1, open 04:00-18:00, and its main office at Pier 4. Those addresses do different jobs. For a Cebu departure, use the pier and reporting time on your ticket; avoid giving a driver the company’s main-office address by mistake. Its Tagbilaran city office is in the Gallares Building in Cogon. 21

On 28 September 2026, OceanJet still publishes its September 2023 baggage policy: Tourist and Open Air include 15 kg, Business includes 20 kg. Tourist/Open Air trolley bags and strollers go into checked baggage. The listed Tagbilaran excess charge is PHP 15 per kilogram. Free porterage for included bags applies at Cebu ports; other ports charge separately. 22

Treat the crossing as a transfer day even when the sailing fits neatly between breakfast and lunch. Your day also includes leaving the room, reaching the pier, waiting to board and traveling from Tagbilaran to the next hotel. Plan an easy meal after arrival. Put the Chocolate Hills on a full Bohol day, when luggage and check-in times are out of the way.

  • Book both directions if returning through CEB, with the return on the day before your international flight. Save each ticket separately so the dates are clear.
  • Keep medicine and valuables in the bag that stays with you. Photograph checked-bag tags and collect every piece before leaving the arrival area.
  • On Bohol, arrange the onward car to Tagbilaran or Alona for the actual sailing booked. A driver expecting the wrong port gains little from knowing only the word Bohol.

A canceled sailing is a reason to change the sequence. Move a city activity into the freed day, then recalculate the remaining nights before buying a replacement. If the return is threatened, prioritize getting back to Cebu while transport is operating. The spare night protects the flight only when you use it.

Cebu City deserves a full day

Begin in Parian. Casa Gorordo stands at 35 E. Aboitiz Street and hosts guests with guides. Its account of the district traces Chinese migration from Fujian and the growth of trade; the Gorordo family moved into the house in 1863. The museum lists Monday-Saturday, 09:00-17:00, as checked 28 September 2026. 6

The house itself rewards a closer look. Casa Gorordo calls its tiled-roof form balay nga tisa, combining local, Spanish and Chinese influences. Built in the 1850s, it housed four generations of the family, including Juan Gorordo, Cebu’s first Filipino bishop. The changing rooms and collections trace domestic life as the city changed around them. 6

National Museum Cebu is at A. Pigafetta Street in San Roque. Its portal lists daily opening, 09:00-18:00, and free admission. Walk-ins are accepted; groups of 20 or more need advance booking. 3

The National Museum occupies the former Customs House, built in 1910 to support Cebu’s trade. It later became Malacañan sa Sugbo before its conversion to a museum. The institution lists three permanent galleries downstairs and two changing galleries upstairs. Pairing this public building with Casa Gorordo gives the day two scales: a port city and a family home. 23

  • Kinaiyahan, meaning nature in Cebuano, starts with rocks, minerals and fossils, then turns to plants and animals. Its account links Cebu’s remaining limestone forests and mangroves to the life they support. Choose this gallery for the natural-history part of the visit. 24
  • Paglawig: Cultural Movements Across the Seas uses finds from shipwrecks dating from the 13th to 19th centuries to explain trade across Asia and farther afield. A second part looks at boat-building in Cebu and nearby islands, drawing on fieldwork in 2023. It gives the next day’s ferry crossing a longer maritime context. 25
  • For a break in Parian, Casa Gorordo has a Bo’s Coffee branch. Its Monday-Saturday opening means a Sunday museum day should center on the National Museum instead. 6

Start with Casa Gorordo when a guided house visit is the priority, then choose the National Museum gallery that best fits your interests. For children curious about rocks or boats, reverse the emphasis and give Kinaiyahan or Paglawig more of the day. The two museums offer different stories, so a short visit can still have a clear theme.

Bohol: hills, a river and time on Panglao

Make the Chocolate Hills an interior day. UNESCO describes the hills as limestone shapes formed through erosion of ancient coral deposits. Bohol’s geopark also includes caves and sinkholes. The geology connects the view to the sea you crossed; the hills are one part of a much larger island story. 5

Set aside one of your three full Bohol days for the interior. A private car makes the most sense when your party wants a short list of stops and control over lunch. A shared excursion suits travelers happy to follow its fixed route. Compare the stops line by line: a longer list can mean less time at the place you came to see.

Loboc River bordered by dense green vegetation in Bohol
Loboc River, Bohol. 26 · Kleomarlo; resized for display · Source · CC BY-SA 4.0

Loboc and Abatan are separate river choices. Put a Loboc visit on the interior day only if the quoted route leaves enough time for both it and the hills. Put Abatan on its own evening if fireflies are the priority. Selecting one river experience frees time for a museum or beach day instead of repeating the same kind of outing.

In Tagbilaran, Paglawig: The Boholano Way of Life tells a different story from Cebu’s maritime exhibition. The museum’s 2023 announcement describes stone, shell and bone tools and ornaments recovered in Anda, Mabini, Candijay and Guindulman. It connects those finds with Boholano boat-building, metalwork, jewelry, basket and raffia weaving, and asin tibuok salt production. Confirm that the display is open if it is the main reason for your visit. 27

Bohol’s marine geology extends beyond the Chocolate Hills. UNESCO describes the Danajon Double Barrier Reef off the northern coast as two offshore reef systems shaped by coral growth and tidal currents. Treat that as a distinct marine interest when choosing a longer trip; the standard hills-and-Panglao loop covers a different part of the island. 5

Abatan: choose the boat and the group size

Abatan has a named local governing body. The Abatan River Development Management Council directly manages the project, which connects five municipalities. The Main Village Center in Cortes is its principal entry and docking point. Its own account describes community tours and firefly trips, with work on river cleanup and mangrove monitoring. 28

The five participating towns are Maribojoc, Cortes, Antequera, Balilihan and Catigbian. The project follows 13.5 km of river from Salvador in Cortes toward Kawasan Falls in Balilihan. For the departure, give your driver the Abatan Main Village Center at Highway-Junction Salvador, Cortes. That is a useful address to settle before leaving Tagbilaran or Panglao. 28

Food: order a portion, then build the meal

In Cebu, lechon comes in useful small portions. Rico’s Cebu price list, checked 28 September 2026, gives PHP 395 for 250 g, PHP 680 for 500 g, PHP 840 for 750 g and PHP 990 for 1 kg. Spicy lechon is subject to availability; a takeaway box adds PHP 25. 30

Meat portions and packaging only. Add sides and drinks separately; confirm branch service charges. The page carries a price-list date of 17 December 2025.

For two people, decide how much pork you want before comparing the price per gram. A larger portion has a lower unit cost, but leftovers carried through a museum day bring their own problem. Order the amount you want to eat, then add rice or vegetables from the menu. Keep a lechon meal on the Cebu day when you have time to sit.

For a Bohol food stop, Tan Inong Manufacturing in Alburquerque makes asin tibuok, the salt also featured in the island museum. The family-run maker describes soaking coconut husks in saltwater, burning them, filtering the ash into brine and boiling it in clay pots. The finished salt forms a rounded mass that can be cracked and grated. 31

Tan Inong welcomes visitors to learn about production in East Poblacion, Alburquerque. Arrange the workshop visit directly, including the exact meeting point and which production stage you can see. Its site gives conflicting purok numbers, so a confirmed map pin is more useful than copying the street address. This is a working food producer, with the visit shaped by the salt-making process. 31

Traveling with a vegetarian or someone with an allergy changes the meal plan early. A lechon stop can be one person’s lunch without becoming everyone’s only option. Pick a venue where the rest of the group has a clear meal, and give the kitchen the ingredient restriction directly. For the Bohol car day, settle that meal choice before the driver starts the route.

How much should you set aside?

Price this trip in separate pieces. Start with the international flight and eight hotel nights, then add the two ferry tickets, each ground transfer and the excursions you actually want. Keep amounts per room, per person and per vehicle in separate columns. The same quoted price means different things for a solo traveler and a family sharing a car.

The chart shows why a group price needs a unit. The boat component for a pair is split two ways; five friends divide a different boat tier five ways. It gives you a comparison for one outing, not a daily spending target. Keep the return car in a separate line so the cheaper boat share stays visible without hiding another expense.

BDO publishes a PHP 250 withdrawal fee for cards issued overseas, before the card issuer’s charges. Four such withdrawals cost PHP 1,000 in BDO fees; two cost PHP 500. Use that arithmetic to plan a sensible cash reserve for your Cebu-Bohol route without carrying the whole trip’s spending at once. 10

For the full trip, compare a Tagbilaran hotel plus a beach outing with an Alona hotel plus city transfers. Keep the flight and room quotes dated. MMT’s money section lists further reading on ATM charges, currency conversion and accommodation bills, useful when comparing the payable totals.

For a holiday, BSP’s March 2026 rules allow each traveler up to PHP 50,000 in Philippine currency across the border. Excess-peso permission is limited to currency testing, collecting or awareness work, with prior written approval and declaration. Foreign currency above USD 10,000 equivalent requires declaration of the whole amount. These limits concern money carried across the border. 8

When should you go, and what happens if it rains?

Use Cebu’s local rainfall pattern. PAGASA’s 1991-2020 Mactan normal is lowest in April at 55.6 mm, compared with 210.6 mm in July and 207.6 mm in October. These are monthly averages at the gateway station. April is a useful starting point for dates when less rain matters, with the daily forecast deciding the actual outings. 11

MonthMean rainfall, mm
January135.1
April55.6
July210.6
October207.6

Mactan station only; these figures describe past climate, not Bohol-wide conditions or a forecast.

PAGASA identifies July through October as the peak tropical-cyclone season. UK advice says passenger-boat accidents are more frequent during the rainy season it defines as June-December and warns against overloaded vessels. A sunny hotel morning is too narrow a basis for judging an inter-island sailing. 32, 17

  • If the Bohol interior day turns wet, move the Tagbilaran museum day forward. Keep the car booking’s change terms alongside the hotel booking.
  • If the outbound Cebu ferry is canceled, stay in Cebu and use the spare city time. Shorten Bohol only after the replacement crossing is settled.
  • If weather threatens the return, bring the crossing forward while a suitable sailing is operating. A second night on Cebu is a better use of money than an avoidable missed international flight.

Copy these eight-night and twelve-night routes

Choose the route by what you want to see. The eight-night version joins Parian’s house museum, Bohol’s limestone interior and time on Panglao. The twelve-night version adds separate days for Tagbilaran and Abatan. Both return to Cebu before the international departure day; the shorter route keeps the final night in Mactan.

Use the two full city days for Casa Gorordo and the National Museum, with room to explore their different accounts of Cebu. The house focuses on family life and trade; the museum adds natural history and seafaring. Spend more time with the subject that interests you instead of fitting both visits around a ferry departure. 6, 24, 25

Return from Bohol, transfer to the airport area and sleep on the departure side of the sea crossing. This is the route’s connection buffer.

→ Transfer to CEB for the international departure.

With less time: For six nights, use two in Cebu City, three in Bohol and one in Mactan. Drop a Bohol outing, then keep the last-night buffer. For five nights, choose one island base.

    Cebu City3 nights

Start with the same two full Cebu days. Give one to Parian and the National Museum; use the other for a longer gallery visit or a Cebu lechon meal. The return stay later in the route gives you another chance at a missed museum opening.

→ CEB to Cebu City; then ferry from Cebu to Tagbilaran.
  2. 02
    Bohol6 nights

Six nights give five full Bohol days. Separate the Chocolate Hills, Tagbilaran and Panglao, with Abatan on an evening of its own. A food-focused traveler can use one day for an arranged asin tibuok workshop visit in Alburquerque. Keep the remaining day free for the island interest that grows during the trip. 31

→ Return ferry from Tagbilaran to Cebu.
  3. 03
    Cebu City2 nights

Use the return city stay for a missed museum or meal. For a later flight, you can keep the final three Cebu nights at this hotel and transfer directly to CEB on departure day.

→ Car to the Mactan airport area after the second night.
  4. 04
    Mactan airport area1 night

Choose the separate Mactan night when the flight is early enough to make airport proximity worthwhile.

→ Car to CEB on departure day.

With less time: For ten nights, shorten Bohol to five and the return Cebu City stay to one. Preserve the full interior day and the final airport-side night.

An open-jaw version ends in Bohol, then flies onward via Manila. Compare it only once the actual Bohol departure and international connection fit together. A Tourism Promotions Board itinerary used Cebu by air, Tagbilaran by ferry and Bohol to Manila by air in 2026. That sequence is a useful alternative to price, especially if Manila is already part of your trip. 33

On separate tickets, compare a Manila overnight with the cost of the return ferry and Mactan hotel. A through ticket connects the flights within one booking, so compare its conditions as well as its fare. The article index includes reading on stopovers, flight budgets and cancellation terms for that next decision.

Safety, health and choosing activities

Read risk by region and activity. The US advisory dated 1 September 2026 sets the Philippines at Level 2. It names the Sulu Archipelago, southern Sulu Sea and Marawi City as areas to avoid, and advises reconsidering travel to specified parts of Mindanao. Cebu and Bohol sit outside those named higher-level areas; the national caution still applies. 34

The same advisory now highlights insurgent activity in some rural and remote areas of Leyte, Mindoro, Negros and Samar. A plan that expands beyond the Cebu-Bohol loop deserves a fresh route-level reading. Use the destination you will actually visit, including overland and sea connections, when comparing advice with your insurance cover. 34

UK health advice recommends preparing at least eight weeks before travel and arranging cover for local care and medical evacuation. It notes year-round mosquito-borne disease risk, with higher dengue risk during June-October. Medical access varies, especially away from cities. Call 911 for an ambulance and contact your insurer promptly if referred for treatment. 13

  • For a Panglao water activity, choose the operator before paying for transport. Explain swimming ability, the ages of children and any access needs so the outing can be matched to the group.
  • For an Abatan evening, settle the return ride before boarding. Keep the hotel address and driver arrangement offline; the end of an outing is a poor time to start solving the trip home.
  • For a Bohol car day, use a driver if that better fits your road experience. A short holiday is a poor setting for learning to ride a scooter while carrying a passenger.

Insurance should match the holiday you have booked. If diving becomes the main activity, review its depth and training conditions before adding days at sea. If your plans stay with museums, a car tour and the beach, choose cover around those activities and the inter-island journey. Put the assistance number in the same offline folder as the tickets.

Mobility planning belongs at the start of the route. A room with step-free access solves only the hotel portion; the ferry, car and river boat are separate transfers. For a traveler who needs assistance, keep the island count low and use longer stays. The extra night in one place gives more value than another arrival routine.

Find the practical detail you need, or browse by topic.

Is Manila necessary on a first Philippines trip?

No. This loop starts and ends at CEB. Add Manila when the international flights or your interests make it useful. If your ticket arrives in Manila, count that arrival and any connection as part of the trip before assigning eight nights to Cebu and Bohol.

What are the rules for Indian tourists?

The Los Angeles consulate describes 14 visa-free days with six months of passport validity beyond the stay, confirmed accommodation, proof of funds and onward travel. Holders of valid US, Japanese, Australian, Canadian, Schengen, Singapore or UK visas or residence permits qualify for 30 days for tourism, with the same passport-validity and onward-ticket requirements. Both stays are non-extendible and non-convertible; admission also requires no derogatory immigration record. 35

Can Chinese passport holders use Cebu as their entry point?

Yes. The official portal’s rule effective 16 January 2026 allows 14 non-extendible, non-convertible days for tourism or business via Manila or Mactan-Cebu. It requires six months of passport validity beyond the stay, confirmed accommodation, return/onward travel and no derogatory immigration record. Transit to a third country requires a transit visa. 1

Does a ferry baggage allowance cover my flight too?

Each carrier applies its own allowance. Philippine Airlines permits one cabin bag of up to 7 kg within 56 x 36 x 23 cm, plus one listed personal item. A bag accepted on the ferry can still need checking on a flight. Pack to the flights you actually bought. 12

When should I reach the airport for a Cebu Pacific domestic flight?

The airline advises arrival two hours before departure and says domestic counters close 45 minutes before the flight. That cutoff is the end of check-in, not a sensible target for reaching the terminal. Add the drive from your Cebu or Panglao base before counting backward from the flight. 36

Do Abatan child and senior discounts apply to everyone?

The provider lists children five and under free, ages six and over at adult rates, and a 12% senior discount. Eligibility and how free children count toward boat capacity need confirmation before payment. The chart uses adult parties with no discounts. 29

Can I visit both museums with a large group?

Groups of 20 or more must book through the National Museum portal at least three working days ahead and bring the confirmation. Walk-ins are welcome for smaller parties. For a large group, fix the museum slot before arranging the car. 3

What is the first thing to cut from a short trip?

Cut a second Bohol excursion before cutting the final Cebu-side night. With three Bohol nights, choose the interior plus either the city or beach as your two main days. A shorter wish list keeps the island stay enjoyable and protects the departure plan.
